Proclinical is seeking a dedicated CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) Engineer to oversee the design, constructability, and quality of building structures, acting as the primary onsite technical lead. They manage construction documentation, ensure compliance with safety/specifications, and coordinate subcontractor activity from mobilization through project close-out.
Key Responsibilities
1. Construction Oversight: Monitor site progress, conduct field inspections, and ensure compliance with Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and specs.
2. Technical Coordination: Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and Request for Information (RFI) documents.
3. Design-Field Liaison: Bridge the gap between engineering teams and site crews to resolve design discrepancies, constructability issues, and structural integrity challenges.
4. Quality Management: Perform inspections for foundations, structural steel, concrete, and architectural finishes, managing snagging/punch lists for zero-defect completion.
5. Safety and Compliance: Enforce local regulations and company safety standards during all phases of construction.
Key Competencies
6. Education: Degree in Civil Engineering.
7. Structural Expertise: Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, piling, and site engineering, particularly in high-demand environments like industrial, data centres, or semiconductor facilities.
8. Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Communication: Effective coordination with subcontractors, clients, and design consultants.
