About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) for an Army brigade-size unit, under the direction of the unit Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Director, supporting the Army's H2F System with the HHC 173D Airborne Brigade, Grafenwohr, Germany.

Duties
* Serve as the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for an Army brigade sized unit.
* Deliver in-person and remote (Telehealth) nutrition interventions (Medical Nutrition Therapy and Human Performance Optimization) to individuals and populations.
* Work with an interdisciplinary team to communicate and coordinate programming for health restoration and performance optimization of Soldiers.
* Conduct assessments to identify nutrition-related concerns of individuals and units.
* Develop comprehensive performance nutrition programs that improve foundational health and optimize environmental and task-specific performance.
* Execute and evaluate programs, services, education, and resources for performance enhancement.

2. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

6. Applicants must be able to fulfill credentialing requirements and obtain and maintain appropriate/relevant clinical privileges.
7. This position requires that you undergo an initial Urinalysis Testing prior to entering the position and random drug testing thereafter.
8. This position may require temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 25% of the time.
9. All Health Care Providers must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification that is sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA). (attach copy)
10. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
11. This position is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
12. Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
13. A Tier 1 - non-sensitive Low Risk background check is required.
14. Incumbent may be required to work later in the day and/or on weekends, overtime and/or other than normal duty hours for data collection, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
15. The incumbent may be assigned a government cell phone and be required to be in an On-Call status after hours and on weekends.
