Ihre Herausforderung
In dieser Position übernehmen Sie eine zentrale Rolle bei der Förderung einer nachhaltigen Sicherheits- und Präventionskultur und tragen aktiv zur Gewährleistung sicherer Arbeitsbedingungen in einem anspruchsvollen industriellen Umfeld bei. Ihr Beitrag wirkt sich unmittelbar auf das Wohlbefinden unserer Mitarbeitenden sowie auf die operative Leistungsfähigkeit des Standorts aus.
Ihre Aufgaben
* Implementierung, Überwachung und Förderung der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung des Arbeitsschutzmanagementsystems.
* Durchführung regelmäßiger Sicherheitsbegehungen sowie Identifikation von Risiken, Abweichungen und unsicheren Verhaltensweisen
* Durchführung von Unfall- und Vorfalluntersuchungen einschließlich Definition und Nachverfolgung von Korrektur- und Präventionsmaßnahmen
* Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller relevanten deutschen und europäischen Arbeitsschutzvorschriften.
* Planung und Durchführung von Schulungen sowie Sensibilisierungsmaßnahmen im Bereich Arbeitssicherheit.
* Zusammenarbeit mit den Behörden, Betriebsärzten und externen Dienstleistern.
* Erstellung von Reports, Überwachung relevanter KPIs sowie die Aufbereitung von Informationen für das Management.
* Unterstützung bei internen und externen Prüfungen, insbesondere im Rahmen der ISO 45001 und IATF 16949.
Ihr Profil
* Technische Ausbildung oder abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Arbeitssicherheit, Ingenieurwesen oder in einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet.
* Mindestens drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem industriellen Umfeld, idealerweise in der Automobilindustrie
* Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens Niveau C1) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse
* Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte und präventionsorientierte Denkweise
* Kommunikationsstärke sowie eine proaktive, selbstständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.

At Sodecia, we are looking for a Health & Safety Technician to join our plant in Saarlouis, Germany, operating within one of the most demanding and dynamic environments in the European automotive industry.

The challenge
In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a strong prevention and safety culture, ensuring safe and sustainable working conditions in a highly demanding industrial environment. Your contribution will have a direct impact on people’s well-being and on operational performance.
Key responsibilities
• Implement, monitor, and promote the continuous improvement of the Occupational Health & Safety management system.
• Carry out regular site inspections, identifying risks, non-conformities, and unsafe behaviours.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, defining and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable German and European Health & Safety legislation.
• Plan and deliver training and awareness initiatives on workplace safety.
• Liaise with competent authorities, occupational health providers, and external service partners.
• Prepare reports, monitor KPIs, and provide relevant information to management.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits, particularly within the scope of ISO 45001 and IATF 16949.
Candidate profile
• Technical or higher education qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and a good level of English.
• Strong analytical skills, a prevention-oriented mindset, and effective communication abilities.
• Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented profile.
