Main Responsibilities: Maintain both general and analytical accounting Record and verify accounting transactions: purchases, sales, bank movements, and other business operations Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable and payable Participate in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, corporate income tax, etc.) Collaborate in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist in preparing financial reports and coordinating with auditors for annual statement reviews Track open items on client and supplier accounts Profile - Degree or professional training in accounting - 2 to 5 years' experience in accounting, with accounts payable management - Proficiency in accounting software, ideally JD Edwards (JDE) - Strong Excel and digital financial system skills - Solid knowledge of German accounting rules and local tax regulations - Accuracy, organization, independence, and structure in handling tasks - Analytical skills for identifying links and consistencies in financial data - Good interpersonal skills and team spirit for cross-departmental collaboration - Professional fluency in German and English - Flexibility and willingness to learn as the position evolves, with respect for deadlines Why Join Macopharma?
