Join a leading data centre provider as a Principal Electrical Engineer, supporting the design and delivery of large-scale hyperscale and colocation developments across the Frankfurt region. This client-facing role involves acting as a key design stakeholder throughout the full project lifecycle, from early-stage concept to construction support. Responsibilities:
Act as the lead electrical design stakeholder across major data centre projects
Oversee and coordinate electrical design from concept through to delivery
Provide technical expertise across MV and LV systems, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
Support construction teams with design clarifications and technical input
Manage and coordinate external consultants and EPC partners
Ensure all designs align with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards
Act as a key interface between design, construction, and client stakeholders
Drive design management processes across multiple concurrent projects
Skills/Must have:
Proven experience within electrical design for data centres or mission-critical infrastructure
Strong knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems (design and application)
Background within a consultancy or design-led environment
Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage client-side stakeholders
Fluent English required (German not essential)
Experience within the Frankfurt / German data centre market is advantageous

Salary:
