My client is looking for a highly skilled
Embedded Software Engineer
with experience in airborne software development for an exciting
18 month
opportunity in
Munich
Your main duties will be to specify, design, and implement safety‑critical embedded software for eVTOL motor control, define system architecture using model‑based methods, and produce all life cycle documentation in compliance with RTCA DO‑178C standards.
Your Day to Day:
* Specify, design, and implement safety‑critical software in line with internal processes (RTCA DO‑178C compliant) for electric motor control systems in eVTOL aircraft.
* Produce all necessary software life cycle artefacts (e.g., high‑level requirements, software architecture, low‑level requirements, source code).
* Define the system's functional architecture using an MBSE/MBD approach, develop interfaces, and outline work packages.
* Contribute to the development and testing of prototype software.
Your Profile
Must have:
* B.Sc./M.Sc./M.Eng in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Over 4 years of professional experience programming in embedded C, with strong diagnostic, design, coding, and debugging skills.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in airborne software development within an RTCA DO‑178C (EUROCAE ED‑12C) environment (DAL‑A to DAL‑C).
* At least 2 years' experience applying the RTCA DO‑331 supplement (Model‑Based Development and Verification).
* Advanced proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
* Fluent in English.
