Job Description The Office of the CFOO (Chief Financial and Operations Officer) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing zooplus' Strategy. As Operations is one of the most critical growth levers in e-commerce, this team sits at the heart of how we deliver value to millions of customers across Europe. We operate a high-performing Operations engine across Forecasting & Replenishment, Transportation, Fulfilment Operations, and Last Mile Delivery - and are hiring an Operations Strategy Lead to help shape its continued evolution and strategic impact. In this role, you will be positioned at the center of the Operations organization, embedded within the CFOO Office. You will work closely with the CFOO - who leads both Finance and Operations - and the Head of Finance & Operations Strategy to define strategic priorities, lead high-impact initiatives, and bring clarity to complex challenges in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly influence how zooplus scales its operational backbone to enable both, cost efficiency and customer excellence. What you will do Lead high-impact projects across the Operations value chain - including Forecasting & Replenishment, Transportation, Fulfilment Operations, Last Mile Delivery, and Operations Development Bring strategy to life by turning goals into actionable plans and driving alignment across Operations and beyond, incl. Sales, Finance, Product & Tech, and the Central Transformation Office Collaborate with the Central Transformation Office to align on company-wide priorities and ensure Operations initiatives are effectively represented Dive deep into operational data to drive decisions that enhance customer experience and cost efficiency Build scalable frameworks, tools, and routines that improve clarity, accountability, and execution across the Operations organization Run key operational cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to support alignment, performance tracking, and decision-making Prepare executive-level materials and strategic updates for senior leadership and private equity investors, linking operational outcomes to financial impact D rive initiatives that strengthen team engagement and culture within the COO organization
