Workster is partnering with a leading company in business travel management, corporate cards, and expense management to recruit a Senior Business Travel Consultant to join its team based in Berlin.
In this role, you will provide high-quality support to business travelers by managing accommodation, flight, rail, and other business travel-related bookings. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth travel arrangements, supporting users with self-service tools, and maintaining compliance with internal and client travel policies.
This is a full-time, on-site position in Berlin, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment while supporting business travelers from around the world.
Your Role
* Provide customer support via chat, phone calls, and email to ensure a seamless travel experience
* Stay informed about relevant travel information, destinations, and service providers
* Efficiently assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences
* Manage complex travel bookings, including flights, rail, accommodation, and additional travel services
* Support clients in using self-service options across travel platforms and applications
* Ensure prompt responses in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
* Maintain compliance with company and client policies in accordance with international business travel standards
* Provide feedback to stakeholders regarding service improvements and key processes
* Participate in team discussions on industry trends, products, and service providers
* Stay up to date with best practices in the business travel sector
* Meet attendance, training, and performance expectations
Your Profile
* Fluency in German (C1-C2 level), both written and spoken, and English (C1)
* 3-4 years of experience as a Business Travel Consultant, managing air, rail, and hotel bookings
* 2-3 years of experience with a GDS system (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) — mandatory
* Experience in customer-facing roles or contact center environments
* Proficiency with tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce
* Ability to work rotating shifts (Monday to Sunday, between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM)
* Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and efficiently manage customer requests
* Excellent communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
