We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing industrial technology group to appoint a Head of Accounting. The environment is dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and scaling the finance function.
About the Role
As Head of Accounting, you will take ownership of the group accounting landscape and act as a central finance partner across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong visibility to senior management and exposure to M&A integration activities.
Responsibilities
* Lead the year-end group closing and external audit process
* Manage local accounting activities for the holding entity
* Support monthly closing activities together with the Controlling team
* Act as the main point of contact for accounting-related topics across group entities
* Coordinate group tax matters alongside external advisors
Qualifications
Several years of experience in accounting, ideally within a group or multi-entity structure
Required Skills
* Strong experience with group consolidation and year-end closing processes
* Solid knowledge of HGB; IFRS exposure is advantageous
* Experience working with LucaNet is highly preferred
* Fluent German and good English skills
