The
Business Development Manager (m/f/d)
will be responsible for attracting new clients, crafting and negotiating contract proposals and implementing successful contracts to drive business growth for Fisher Scientific across Europe in Biotech and Pharma customers. This role will be part of a wider Business Development team, reporting to the Strategic Accounts Director for BioPharma Europe. This role is based in Europe and requires a German and English-speaking candidate.
A day in the Life:
1. Develop and implement a strategic growth plan, leading new opportunities across a geographical territory with a primary focus on pharma and biotech accounts. Adopt a process through proposal and negotiation, culminating in new contract agreements and revenue growth.
2. Build a strong understanding of defined geographical regions and segments through in-depth research and analysis of potential customers and markets. Understand the competitive landscape, current competitive contracts with assigned customers, and the impact on our
