The Data & AI team develops data-driven services with significant business impact on a scalable AWS infrastructure. Platform engineers, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists collaborate on modern technologies to provide our business units with tailored, data-driven services.
In our Data Analytics & Campaigning department in Hamburg, you will work with your colleagues to optimize the technical and content-related aspects of freenet campaign management – from the campaign idea to optimization after evaluating campaign performance.
Your tasks
* Data Engineering: The development of our AWS-based campaigning data pipelines is in your hands.
* Data quality and operations: You establish data quality checks, monitoring and alerting, and support incident handling.
* Interfaces and more: By orchestrating data exchange with operational and analytical systems, you ensure that the data reaches the right place at the right time.
Your profile
* Successful completion of studies in (business) informatics, economics or a comparable field of study
* Excellent Python skills for pipeline and software development
* Good SQL skills for data modeling and analysis
* Knowledge of the design, operation and maintenance of data pipelines
* Proficient use of modern software engineering practices (Git, code reviews, CI/CD, testing)
* "Hands-on" mentality and a desire to learn about new topics/technologies
* Practical experience with AWS (e.g., Glue, Lambda, Step Functions); knowledge of Spark/Databricks is a plus.
