Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
Looking for a Project Quality Manager, who will report to the Regional Project Quality Coordinator of German Corridors and Central East Europe within BU Projects (Powerlink, part of Prysmian Group) and will be based in one of our German offices (Bayreuth, Würzburg, Düsseldorf or Berlin).
In this role you will:
1. plan and implement quality activities within projects
2. coordinate and supervise Quality Assurance and Control activities, as per the projects complexity, the scope of work, company methods, contractual requirements and relevant standards and regulations
You will also:
3. support the Project Manager in dealing with clients with relation to Quality matters and relevant contractual requirements
4. coordinate the preparation of the Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedure, guaranteeing the compliance with contractual requirements and relevant standards and regulations involving internal and external stakeholders (e.g. project teams, plants, suppliers, subcontractors)
5. collaborate with manufactory plants in monitoring the product quality and the relationship with customers
6. assess the suitability of suppliers and subcontractors at tender and execution stage, review their quality plans and quality activities, ensuring they work in compliance with project quality requirements
7. plan and perform quality training activities within the project team and the stakeholder involved
8. plan and perform quality audits tp project processes/activities, manufactory plants, suppliers and subcontractors
9. follow-up client quality audits, non-conformities, complaints etc. and to ensure relevant problem solving
10. promote project improvements, lessons learned and best practice collection and implementation
11. collaborate on the preparation of project quality reporting
12. provide periodical project data analysis (e.g. project objectives, performance indicators, non-conformities, complaints and lesson learned) and relating reporting
13. ensure contract review and project close our are performed as per contractual requirements
You are the right fit if you have/are:
14. Engineering master’s degree
15. Solid experience of Quality Management preferably within EPCI wor environment, including manufacturing/production, land site activities
16. Preferred knowledge in cable market
17. Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 series standards; auditing experience is requested. Be qualified as lead auditor will be a plus. Knowledge of problem-solving techniques. IEC standards, PMI, risk management techniques, Lean Six Sigma knowledge/experience/certification will be aplus
18. Strong leadership, team player
19. People management/influencing and organizational skills. Analytica, problem solver
20. High PC literacy
21. Proficient in English and German, written and spoken; other languages will be a plus
22. Travel expected: about 30 %
