Your Tasks
* As a Controller with a focus on controlling systems, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our reporting and controlling landscape within a leading media company. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality, setting up new reports and dashboards, and managing and mapping master data. In this position, you will closely collaborate with various departments, IT, and management to enable efficient and transparent business steering.
* Build, maintain, and further develop controlling and reporting systems (e.g., BI tools, ERP interfaces)
* Design, implement, and maintain new reports and dashboards to support management decisions
* Take responsibility for master data maintenance (e.g., cost centers, accounts, organizational structures) within the controlling environment
* Set up and manage data mappings between source systems and reporting tools
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and validation across systems
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with analyses and reports
* Collaborate with IT on system enhancements, automation, and interface optimization
* Provide training and user support for internal stakeholders on reports and systems
Your Profile
* Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of experience in Controlling, ideally within a media company or data-driven environment
* Strong knowledge of common controlling and reporting tools (e.g., SAP CO BI, Power BI, S4Hana or similar)
* Solid understanding of data structures, master data management, and interface logic
* Analytical and process-oriented mindset with a structured and solution-driven approach
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Good command of English (spoken and written)
