As a Staff Master Data Specialist you will be primarily responsible for the strategic development of the master data management vision of the Trauma & Extremities, ensuring direct alignment to the company’s overall vision and strategy. This role will identify key master data domains and their use cases, and deliver on the strategy and roadmap to achieve the vision. You will oversee, support, and ensure that an effective and efficient master data management system is built and maintained and are responsible to ensure that all applicable quality system regulations are met in order to receive regulatory clearance/certification.
This position will partner with global business functions, information technology and supporting business to develop sustainable process, programs and capabilities focused on achieving single version of data across the organization.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
1. Manage Master Data Management Strategy for focus domains, aligning to key strategic initiatives
2. Champion Master Data Management initiatives for key domains with responsibility of delivering end-to-end solution to centralize the creation, governance and distribution of master data
3. Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the data quality, processes and standards for master data domains
4. Ensure QMS compliance with the appropriate internal and external regulatory requirements (including but not limited to Site, Division, Corporate, FDA, ISO, MDD, and individual country requirements).
5. Ensure optimum state of QMS in regard to processes for creating, maintaining and reporting master data for current and future business needs. Identify reference data domains, its usage and impact to key processes; and establish a plan to govern reference data for improved quality and harmony across multiple systems and processes
6. Identify and deliver strategic and futuristic improvements and inputs into the quality planning process and the Global Master Data Management and Governance strategy.
7. Drive development and/or modification of Stryker's QMS.
8. Assess and quantify requirements for QMS requirements to optimize structure.
9. Ensure GMP and GDP compliance within Quality organization.
10. Provide guidance for the development, maintenance, and improvement to policies and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS.
11. Ensure development and delivery of training for QMS areas of expertise.
12. Drive development of best-in-class practices and benchmark against industry leaders and regulatory requirements.
13. Ensure QMS reflects actual activities, business needs and supports NPD requirements.
14. Provide direction for the overall QMS strategy. Lead improvement processes, executing and leading projects.
15. Strong knowledge of system integration.
16. Partner with IT to develop MDM plan, tool selection and implementation
Travel Percentage: 30%
