At NEURA Robotics, Engineering Operations is the backbone that connects visionary hardware and software development to real-world production. As we scale from prototype to mass deployment — targeting five million cognitive robots by 2030 — the processes bridging engineering and manufacturing must be fast, data-driven, and flawlessly coordinated. This team ensures that every design decision translates into a production-ready reality. Your mission & challenges You bridge engineering and production — in data and in process. NEURA Robotics is scaling at an extraordinary pace. To ensure excelence in engineering, we need a single source of truth: clean, complete, and production-ready engineering data in our ERP system. We also need someone who can drive engineering changes from the idea through purchasing and into production without losing momentum. That's you. Maintain and continuously improve the quality of engineering master data (BoMs, part numbers, material attributes, routings) in our ERP system, acting as the primary interface between engineering and ERP. Coordinate the preparation, validation, and release of all engineering data required by procurement, production planning, and supply chain — ensuring completeness and accuracy before items are handed over. Drive and manage engineering change orders (ECOs/ECRs) end-to-end: from engineering initiation through cross-functional review, purchasing qualification, and production implementation. Serve as the key liaison in the Engineering Change Management (ECM) team, aligning engineering, purchasing, quality, and production on change scope, timing, and impact. Proactively identify gaps and inconsistencies in engineering data before they reach the supply chain — and resolve them with the responsible engineering owner. Support the introduction of new components and assemblies into the ERP system, coordinating part creation workflows across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams. What we can look forward to You move fast, stay organized, and understand engineering. You are a technically minded process professional who thrives at the intersection of engineering and operations. You don't just maintain data — you own it. You speak both the language of engineers and of buyers, and you know that a wrong part number costs more than a missed deadline. Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, or a comparable technical field. Relevant experience (3 years) in engineering data management, ERP administration, or engineering change management — ideally in a hardware-intensive manufacturing environment (automotive, medtech, robotics, or similar). Solid hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle, or comparable); familiarity with PLM/PDM systems (e.g. Teamcenter, Windchill, or Arena) is a strong plus. Sound understanding of BoM structures, part lifecycle management, and procurement processes (RFQs, supplier qualification, AVL). Experience participating in or leading engineering change boards (ECB/ECM) and managing formal change order processes across cross-functional teams. Structured, detail-oriented, and highly reliable — you close open loops and do not lose track of 50 simultaneous part changes. Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken; you can translate technical details for purchasing colleagues and purchasing requirements back to engineers. Knowledge in German is a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-moving, scale-up environment where processes are still being built.
