Your responsibilities
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
1. develop and apply techniques to characterize and improve x-ray lenses
2. develop new scanning X-ray microscopy modalities
3. optimise analysis methods for 3D X-ray microscopy of crystalline samples
4. investigate coherent diffraction on nanocrystals using highly convergent X-ray beams
Your profile
A university degree in a relevant field. Physics or applied Physics.
Good knowledge of optics, metrology, X-ray physics, Fourier optics. Good programming skills in Python. Experience working with synchrotron or x-ray sources is desirable. Any experience with ptychography is advantageous.
