To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Architect (m/f/d). As part of an international technology team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimizion of scalable, end-to-end Windows management architectures that are heavily rooted in Microsoft Intune.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, technical experts, and external partners, you will engineer comprehensive, future-proof solution concepts for large-scale and globally distributed endpoint infrastructures.
Your responsibilities:
1. Translate complex business, user, and operational requirements into high-quality technical specifications, definitive solution concepts, and actionable implementation guidelines (SOPs).
2. Ensure all modern workplace solutions are tightly aligned with corporate strategy, architectural blueprints, and strict enterprise security requirements (such as Zero Trust Enforcement and global compliance benchmarks).
3. Actively drive the decomissioning of legacy on-premises footprints (e.g., SCCM/MECM) and guide the migration paths toward unified, cloud-only endpoint environments.
4. Execute or oversee the implementation of Intune‑based management solutions, policies, and operational measures for quality assurance.
5. Conduct detailed analysis and design activities throughout the full solution lifecycle.
6. Ensure compliance with process landscapes, IT security regulations, and operational requirements.
7. Prepares cost estimates for technology-related sub-projects and services of medium to high complexity.
8. Managing and steering the service provider to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant IT service delivery.
9. Identify, initiate, and drive continuous service improvements and automation opportunities.
Your qualifications:
10. Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
11. Minimum 3+ years of architecture experience in complex, enterprise grade Intune based infrastructures.
12. Deep expertise Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure AD, compliance policies, and endpoint security.
13. Proven experience designing workplace solutions based on modern engineering principles and Microsoft Intune.
14. Strong understanding of automated testing concepts is an advantage.
15. Strong systems design capabilities with the ability to articulate and engineer complex system interactions.
16. Broad engineering knowledge across application, infrastructure, data, and integration layers.
17. Excellent communication skills with a structured, analytical, and results‑oriented work style as well as the ability to work effectively in global, cross‑functional, and virtual teams.
18. Fluent German and English skills (written and verbal) are mandatory.
