What You Will Do
1. Act as main driver to increase car audio take rates at all VW group brands
2. Execution of marketing activities, presence at the customer and maintenance of customer contacts
3. Responsibility for market analysis, observation and research in relation to car audio products
4. Preparation of strategic concept descriptions and price indications as well as preparation of technical and commercial offers and conducting negotiations
5. Interface with the customer's marketing department, identification of business potential and development of suitable measures to increase customer satisfaction, sales and market presence
6. Build strong and sustainable relationships with the customer: OEM sales channels, Dealer management teams, Fleet business responsible and supporting functions focused on driving the revenue growth of Branded Audio and Connected Car products
7. Develop a deep understanding of the customer specific go-to-market approach post engineering and purchasing) globally and navigate their priorities to develop strategic plans that promote the joint agenda
8. Act as the primary Harman contact and consultant with these teams for strategic joint growth plans, and building compelling joint- value proposition-oriented programs
9. Drive idea generation internally for creating disruptive and out-of-the-box ideas to help deliver revenue growth. Own pitching these ideas to the customer and seeking approval and support for programs from the customer
10. Work closely with the CAMs and Marketing to execute best-in-class plans, including dealer and customer programs. Monitor and report internally and to the customer on the success of programs
11. Lead program management function for these programs. Develop detailed project plans, including campaign goals, disruptive ideas, action plans and success metrics for all the programs
12. Reporting to the customer and CAM management at Director level
What You Need
13. 7+ years of relevant work experience in partner management, business development, sales or demand generation marketing with focus on car audio
14. Experience working with VW group
15. Experience designing and executing joint plans with strategic alliance partners with a global footprint
16. Possess an expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing with and through the customer ecosystem
17. Demonstrated experience in working with sales leaders in driving pipeline and revenue
18. Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action
19. Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
20. Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible
21. Fluent English and German language skills are mandatory
22. Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization
23. Excellent time management skills
24. Willingness to travel
