About the Role In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor for our customers across the entire Getronics portfolio before, during, and after project delivery. You will work closely with the Global Head of Technical Architecture and collaborate with IT leaders on the customer side (Infrastructure Managers, IT Directors, Architects, CIOs) to shape strategic initiatives, design future‑proof solutions, and ensure seamless implementation. Your work will combine technical architecture, solution design, and hands‑on customer engagement, including regular on‑site workshops and engagements. Your Responsibilities Engage with managers and directors within existing accounts to identify, shape, and lead new opportunities. Capture business & technical requirements and translate them into end‑to‑end architectural solutions. Lead proof‑of‑concepts or prototype initiatives and guide customers toward their target architecture. Own the commercial & delivery perspective Build and validate cost and pricing models to ensure healthy margins and predictable project delivery. Oversee key technical decisions, mitigate risks, and support project teams in execution. Build relationships that matter Strengthen long‑term partnerships with key stakeholders up to CXO level. Act as technical authority during project delivery and major incident/problem investigations. Maintain relationships with key strategic vendors and partners. Enable excellence across teams Produce High‑Level Designs and review Detailed‑Level Designs from SMEs. Ensure smooth handovers to operations and Business‑as‑Usual teams. Support and mentor colleagues across architecture and consultancy teams. What You Bring Experience & Background Degree in Computer Science or similar—or equivalent professional experience. 8+ years in IT consultancy, technical architecture, or similar senior customer‑facing roles. Strong experience delivering projects in complex, multi‑technology environments. Technical Expertise Hands‑on public cloud architecture experience (Azure and/or AWS), particularly in designing and leading full migrations from on‑prem environments. Solid understanding of enterprise architectures and modern IT infrastructures. Basic networking knowledge required; deeper Cisco/Fortinet experience is a plus. Security/SOC knowledge is an advantage. Communication & Consulting Skills Strong German and English communication skills. Experience in proposal creation, solution pricing, and customer presentations. Background in Project Management or Service Management is beneficial.
