Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Team Lead Fresh & Frozen
Location: Oberhausen, Germany
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations for fresh & frozen goods, ensuring high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and cold-chain integrity.
* Serve as the team’s operational coordinator and hands-on lead, responsible for task allocation, workforce scheduling, and skills training within the group.
* Monitor process irregularities in real time, provide early warnings, and resolve issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
* Ensure effective communication and resource alignment across upstream and downstream functions to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality, and reduce costs.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve employee experience.
* Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time dispatch, productivity, and shrinkage; implement corrective and preventive actions when needed.
* Collaborate with transport, quality, planning, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
* Manage warehouse equipment, capacity, and infrastructure to support operational needs and growth.
Qualifications:
* 1+ years experience in warehouse management, ideally within fresh, chilled, or frozen environments.
* Strong team development, and communication skills.
* Solid understanding of cold-chain operations, food safety, and warehouse compliance standards.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* German and English proficiency for daily communication.
