We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead and develop a high-performing team of 5 buyers for our expanding hotel chain. This pivotal role involves overseeing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and implementing a new purchase ordering system across all properties. Reporting to the Procurement Director, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in operational efficiency, cost management, and process innovation to ensure procurement excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Set performance goals and expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and coaching.
2. Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on cost reduction, supplier quality, and timely delivery.
3. Collaborate with the Procurement Director to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
4. Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and ongoing supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
5. Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships, reviewing performance regularly to maximize value.
6. Lead the deployment of the new purchase ordering system across all properties, ensuring smooth integration with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Analyze purchasing data to inform decisions, track savings, compliance, and performance metrics.
8. Prepare and present procurement reports to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
* 7+ years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within hospitality or a related industry.
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
* Experience with implementing purchase ordering systems or similar technologies.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills with data interpretation capabilities.
* Willingness to travel and flexibility.
* Fluent in German and English.
