Position Overview As a Technical Account Manager, you act as the Worldwide Technical Orchestrator for assigned strategic customer accounts. You are accountable for defining and driving the global technical engagement strategy, ensuring successful adoption, expansion, and long-term value realization of Siemens EDA solutions. You'll work in close partnership with Sales, R&D, and extended PreSales teams to support customer success and sustainable revenue growth. This role aligns with the Technical Account Manager career framework and offers progression toward Senior or Principal TAM roles, PreSales or Technical Management roles, and broader technical leadership positions within Siemens. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the global technical account strategy aligned with the account business plan, developing customer roadmaps supporting land, expand, and defend strategies Understand customer business drivers, design environments, and decision processes; prioritize technical engagements based on value and impact Lead cross-functional technical engagements across regions and sites, coordinating field, expert, partner, and R&D resources to ensure consistency, quality, and execution Track risks, dependencies, and outcomes across all technical engagements and provide open reporting to stakeholders Drive adoption and expansion of Siemens EDA solutions, positioning integrated, end-to-end solution flows rather than point tools Support competitive replacement and technology transition initiatives, providing technical leadership throughout opportunity lifecycles Represent customer needs and priorities internally, providing structured feedback to product management and R&D Communicate roadmaps, capabilities, and commitments clearly to customers, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and product direction Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Experience in EDA, semiconductor design, or related technical roles Experience in customer-facing PreSales, technical consulting, or solution leadership roles Experience working with global, complex customer organizations Understanding of the electronic product design lifecycle and IC/ASIC/FPGA design and verification flows Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence without direct authority Fluent in English and German Master's degree or equivalent experience (desirable) Familiarity with modern verification methodologies (desirable) Experience managing multiple initiatives in parallel across different geographies and cultures (desirable) Why Us At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. Our Benefits & Rewards The total cash compensation range for this position is EUR 104,600 to EUR 209,100 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement).
