Site Manager – Logistics & Office Fit-Outs
Location: Cologne, Germany
Overview:
We are seeking Site Manager to oversee logistics operations and office fit-out projects across sites in and around Cologne.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and driving projects to completion while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Site & Project Management
* Lead day-to-day site operations for office fit-out and refurbishment projects
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
* Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Logistics Coordination
* Oversee the planning and execution of site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and distribution
* Ensure efficient use of space and resources on-site
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Enforce strict adherence to German HSE regulations and company safety standards
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
* Ensure all personnel and subcontractors operate safely and within legal requirements
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within office fit-outs, interiors, or commercial construction
* Strong understanding of site logistics planning and execution
* Knowledge of German construction regulations and HSE standards
* Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schedules
* Relevant construction qualification or certification
