The Opportunity
We are looking for a Wholesale Manager, Germany who will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership and management of all of Canopy Growth’s Germany sales and operations for our pharmaceutical wholesale business. Our wholesale customers are many of the leading cannabis customers in Germany. This is a full-time position based in Germany and will be remotely based with a requirement to travel as required.
Possible work locations include Frankfurt, Köln, Hamburg, München, and Berlin. The role reports directly to the Country Manager, Germany:
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute the pharmaceutical wholesale strategy for Germany aligned with overall business goals
2. Drive sales growth through effective planning, operations, and portfolio management
3. Define and implement pricing and revenue management strategies
4. Build and manage key strategic customer relationships
5. Own and deliver against revenue, profit, and wholesale P&L targets
6. Expand existing accounts and develop new business partnerships
7. Lead S&OP processes to ensure high customer satisfaction and supply alignment
8. Analyze market, pricing, and performance trends to optimize results
9. Oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking
10. Lead and develop the wholesale business while collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders
Your profile
11. A proven track record of success in a wholesale management role, preferably in an international organization and with a successful results track record. Experience in a regulated industry is preferred, ideally cannabis.
12. You have an interest in cannabis.
13. Your German and English language skills (verbal and written) are fluent.
14. You thrive in an autonomous role whilst respecting a matrix environment.
15. You have the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
16. You are confident in using MS Office and have CRM system experience.
17. Entrepreneurial, passionate, creative and forward-thinking leader, exhibiting a strategic mindset combined with a “roll up your sleeves” approach.
