About the Role:
We're hiring on behalf of a major global organisation seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join their HR & Travel Expenses team. You'll play a central role in delivering ongoing payroll support across multiple countries, working within a collaborative, multi-skilled team of internal and external specialists.
What You'll Do:
Payroll Operations & Support Deliver high-quality SAP payroll support across multiple countries in line with agreed SLAs, within a customer-focused team of internal and external resources.
Process Improvement Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives with a focus on technical areas including payroll developments, data migration, integration, and development coordination.
Vendor & Partner Management Manage operational relationships with nearshore and offshore development and service providers, ensuring planning, execution, and quality control meet organisational standards.
Legal Change Management Own the implementation of semi-annual legal change packages in HCM, applying SAP Notes and responding promptly to new legal requirements as they arise.
End-User Engagement Maintain proactive, timely interaction with the end-user community to ensure issues are surfaced and resolved quickly, keeping operations running smoothly.
What You Bring • Substantial experience with SAP HCM processes and Germany-specific customising, including Personnel Administration, Payroll, Time Management, Organisational Management, and Self-Service Portal • Technical proficiency across S/4HANA, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration with SAP HCM, and ABAP/4 programming • In-depth knowledge of payroll customising: wage types, features, payroll schemes, and payroll functions • Experience supporting Change Management processes including SAP HCM HANA migration and new user onboarding • Fluency in both German and English, essential • Additional languages are a genuine advantage given the international scope of this role • Comfortable working across cultures in a diverse, international team
