Langen near Frankfurt is the home of our Headquarters and a control centre branch. Langen is where the present and future of the Group is shaped and where 2,500 members of staff in administration, management, IT, engineering, and training & development work, nestled on our landscaped Campus grounds.
As a simulation coach, you will take on a teaching and mentoring role, delivering content primarily through practical training (simulations). You may also be involved in other areas such as conducting classroom-based lessons. Additional responsibilities include developing and editing materials or teaching resources for simulations or classroom instruction.

Your tasks
- Assuming a teaching and mentoring role, coaching ATCO trainees during their training for lower airspace, or when area controllers are acquiring tower competencies
- Working in the continuing education of controllers and third-party training programmes, including correcting and evaluating exams/assessments
- Independently preparing materials and exercises for practical training on simulators
- Deputising for course leader as needed
- Applying specialised knowledge and experience, particularly in ATM systems and aerodrome control procedures with corresponding responsibility
What makes you stand out
- Possess APS and/or ACS ratings
- Fully trained air traffic controller with extensive professional experience in the role, including several years' experience on the job and on simulators
- Extensive cross-unit experience and knowledge of operational procedures and systems in air traffic services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, readiness to actively acquire German language skills (to A1 level)
- Outstanding level of methodological and didactic knowledge, demonstrated through instructor qualifications (such as OJTI)
