About the Role
The BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m) plays a crucial role in supporting all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. You will provide expert product knowledge, training, and support to Account Managers while generating sales from both new and existing customers. Your ability to evaluate customer processes will help identify solutions and provide the necessary tools and information to drive additional sales and uncover new opportunities.
This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account/Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role is remote, covering the North/West region, including Kiel, Hannover, Hamburg, Bremen, and more.
What You Will Do:
* Contribute to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team.
* Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single-use designs, supporting all related products and technologies.
* Develop sales of modality solutions in your assigned territory, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships.
* Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
* Create a sales funnel to meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.
Who You Are:
* Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
* Several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology industry.
* In-depth expertise in filtration hardware and related consumables.
* Proven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and effective funnel management.
* Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
* Ability to travel up to 40%, including overnight stays within your territory.
* Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
