Purpose
Lead the strategy and development of Cross-Border Employment as well as International Mobility policies and programmes for adidas worldwide. Ensure validity of key related HR processes in partnership with HR Rewards teams globally.
Lead or coordinate related projects on global level and be involved in local projects. Mitigate risks and manage compliance for Cross-Border Employment through policy development and process oversight in partnership with the Geography “Global Functions”. Control global salary, benefit, vendor and support costs and financial liabilities relating to Cross-Border Deployment of staff worldwide.
Key Accountabilities
* Define and communicate global Cross-Border Employment strategy and policy in close alignment with global HR Rewards, HR Services, other global HR functions and the global HR community
* Collaborate with HR Rewards GEO teams to define and communicate Global compensation, benefits, relocation and employment policies, processes and procedures with focus on Mobility.
* Support the adidas People Strategy and ensure aligned global value and organizational impact of global Mobility processes and procedures
* Define and govern an appropriate Cross-Border Employment experience
* Lead the design of global, mobility related trainings and communication material for HR and employees
* Collaborate in the development of global HR Rewards initiatives as Global Expert and as member of the HR Rewards SLT
* Design and manage global benefits in partnership with the global Benefits Expert
* Design and manage international tax and social security concepts in partnership with HR Rewards GEO teams, Corporate Tax and Global Finance
* Lead the design of HRIS system parameters and ensure oversight of implementation in partnership with HR Rewards GEO teams.
* Cooperate with HR Solutions and the Strategy Office in terms of IT-related demands.
* Determine and mitigate risks related to international Mobility policies, processes, and procedures in partnership with Corporate Tax, Corporate Procurement and Legal
* Be accountable for global compliance audit results related to international Mobility policies and processes
* Lead the definition, documentation and communication of Cross-Border Working and International Mobility guidelines, standards and manuals
* Manage global vendor relationships supported by Corporate Procurement
* Ensure efficiency of processes for international invoicing, billing, recharging and funding of expatriation benefits in partnership with GEO teams
* Participate actively in benchmarking exercises and network with other experts in the area of mobility to ensure best practice
* Maintain awareness of local policies / addendums / approaches and track exceptions and issues in partnership with global rewards community
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
* University degree or adequate education
* Experience working in an international company with matrix structures
* High level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP-HR
* Excellent command of English
* Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
* Project Management experience
* International mindset
Qualifications
1. University Degree
2. MBA or Advanced degree or certificate (i.e. CEBS, CCP, etc.) preferred
3. 5+ years of leadership experience
4. 12+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with specialization in International Mobility
