Job Summary:
As the Commercial Director (m/f/d), you will lead and manage a regional sales team. You will provide the necessary guidance and accountability to achieve set commercial targets through account growth.You will grow and develop your team and be responsible for training, budgeting, annual goal setting, and monitoring set measurements against goals on a proscribed basis.You will have the opportunity to make recommendations for strategy, as necessary. You will be involved in strategy and provide recommendations for new or strategic business opportunities in core areas through the innovative use of global business analyses, market intelligence, competitive data, customer feedback and regional input.You will work as part of a global team to help improve service and ensure that global goals are achieved.
Your Tasks:
* Responsibility for developing and implementing the sales strategy, budget, and targets for each fiscal year
* Leading the regional sales team, including promoting cross-selling
* Monitoring and analyzing sales results
* Providing first-class customer service, including interacting with customers and resolving complaints
* Participating in the development of CSA Group's global business strategies in close collaboration with regional executives
* Providing input for business analysis, market information, and competitive data
* Demonstrating knowledge and expertise in a range of areas, such as product portfolio planning, sales and market launch models, and customer/market research
* Supporting the preparation of the annual sales and marketing budget to achieve company goals and operating margin
* Participating in administrative and procedural teams to provide input and contribute to company and/or departmental goals.
* Making recommendations for process improvements
* Monitoring competitors' marketing activities
* Participating in special projects as needed
Your Qualifications:
* University degree, preferably in technical and/or business field
* Six or more years of strategic leadership (global or regional accountability)
* Ability to influence, build networks and get things done without traditional line-authority.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
* Proven ability to consistently exceed sales goals.
* Proven experience dealing with large organizations at senior level
* Create clear, effective and professional written communications and presentations.
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office), good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent written and spoken German and English.
