Aufgaben der Stelle
CapitalatWork Foyer Group is an independent and dynamic asset manager operating at both local and European levels, serving private and professional clients. Our core expertise lies in discretionary asset management and estate planning.
With offices in Leudelange (Luxembourg), Antwerp, Breda, Brussels, Courtrai, Ghent, and Louvain-la-Neuve, we benefit from a strong reputation built on consistent investment performance and longstanding client trust. Today, more than 180 professionals contribute to our success across three countries, including financial analysts, portfolio managers, IT specialists, market desk and back-office experts, and wealth managers.
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Luxembourg team, currently composed of four Compliance experts. Operating under a “Compliance by Design” philosophy, the team plays a key role in proactively embedding regulatory requirements into business processes. In this position, you will contribute to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of a wide range of compliance risks. You will work closely with the first line of defense to support adherence to regulatory obligations and help anticipate evolving regulatory expectations.

Your responsibilities :
• Develop and strengthen the companies’ expertise across key compliance domains, including investor protection (MiFID), market integrity, conflicts of interest, financial crime prevention, and governance.
• Execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including the review and testing of first-line controls, and contribute to compliance risk assessments.
• Perform due diligence reviews on partners, banks, counterparties, and clients, ensuring appropriate risk evaluation and documentation.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on the organization, and support their effective implementation.
• Prepare high-quality reporting for management, including findings, risk analysis, and practical action plans.
• Contribute to the drafting, review, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and control frameworks (e.g. KYC, risk scoring, KRIs).
• Support awareness and training initiatives to embed a compliance mindset across the organization.
• Participate in projects at Group level, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and best practices.
• Actively support day-to-day compliance operations with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

Your Profile :
• Strong personal and professional integrity, with a sound ethical judgment.
• Independent, critical thinker with a keen sense of fairness and regulatory awareness.
• Master’s degree in economics, finance, law, or a finance related discipline.
• Well established and documented experience as a Compliance Officer within the financial sector and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in controls and monitoring.
• Solid knowledge of banking and financial regulations, including control frameworks and governance. An M3 Compliance Certification (House of Training) or another EU-recognized certification is considered an advantage.
• Well-organized and structured, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Autonomous and proactive, while also able to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across departments.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office tools and interested in data management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in French and English is required; additional languages (Luxembourgish, Dutch, German etc.) are an asset.
