Description
Southern Vehicle Accessories part of the ADI Network at Hendrick Automotive Group (the LARGEST privately-owned automotive dealer group in the nation!) is hiring! We are seeking a full-time Auto Parts Shipping & Receiving at our ADI Center in Baton Rouge, LA!
1. Pay Range: $19 per hour.
2. Schedule: Full Time, business hours Monday-Friday 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
3. Controls receipt of inventory
4. Receives incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse location
5. Identifies and reports all overages and shortages
6. Stocks parts and accessories in correct bin locations
7. Notifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special orders
8. Performs inventory test counts as directed by management
9. Loads and unloads trucks
10. May operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles
11. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
12. Participates in required training
13. Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
14. Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
15. Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
16. Complies with Company policies and procedures
17. Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
18. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
32. Valid Driver License
33. Previous shipping and receiving experience a plus.
34. Previous warehouse and/or forklift experience a plus but not required.
35. Ability to lift 70+ pounds.
36. Deadline-oriented.
