Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese multinational and worldwide the biggest producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DENV is Daikin’s sales, development, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa comprising headquarter offices in Brussels and Oostende, 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.
Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of DENV located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim at being one of the driving forces behind the processes transformation: optimization, standardization and automation in the areas of supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.

Are you ready to play a key role in the international flow of goods? As a Customs Process Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of Daikin Europe's distribution network, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems and accessories across our EMEA warehouses.

You will manage and support a wide range of customs activities:

1. 🏢 In-House Customs Operations
2. • Transit Management: monitor inbound T1 documents and Temporary Storage movements.
3. • Import Coordination: oversee daily checks in SAP GTS for bonded warehouse and free circulation processes, including preferential origin handling.
4. • Export Support: provide first-line assistance, track exit confirmations, manage A.TR certificates and invoice declarations and maintain complete archives.
5. 🤝 Collaboration with External Agents
6. • Issue clearance instructions and ensure timely payment of import duties & other taxes.
7. • Maintain documentation and monthly reporting.
8. • Follow up on exit confirmations to ensure compliance.
9. 📊 Intrastat Reporting
10. • Prepare and submit Intrastat reports in multiple EU countries

Our requirementsExperience, education and technical skills

11. Good coordination & ability to prioritize tasks
12. Being able to communicate verbally and in writing at different levels
13. High level of accuracy and timeliness in view of meeting official deadlines
14. You possess good (business) analytical skills
15. Eye for picking up errors
16. SAP knowledge is an advantage (S4/HANA + GTS)
17. Good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Excel (Knowledge of macros & VBA is a plus.)
18. Preferably you have relevant experience with Incoterms, customs formalities, VAT and logistical processes


Interpersonal skills

19. Special focus on improvements proposing, executing and leading (process or way of working improvements)
20. Affinity to work in an international trade and customs environment, but keeping a practical focus
21. Confidence in communicating with different parties at all levels is essential (authorities, external providers, international colleagues, etc…)
22. Team player, looking for cooperation, consultation and teamwork on regular base with colleagues of own and other departments
23. You have strong analytical skills and are able to detect and solve problems quickly and independently.
24. A good command of English is essential
