Your Responsibilities
As a People Operations & Payroll Manager, you’ll join our international People team and support payroll, People Ops, and HR analytics across several countries. You’ll turn HR data into useful insights, keep processes running smoothly, and help build smarter, scalable workflows—together with colleagues from around the world. And here’s where your contribution will make the biggest impact:
Payroll & Compensation (50%)
1. Support the monthly payroll process for multiple countries together with our external providers.
2. Maintain accurate employee data, changes, and time records in Personio.
3. Handle payroll-related questions from employees and managers in a clear, supportive way.
4. Support bonus and compensation calculations.
5. Ensure compliance with tax, social security, and regulatory requirements.
6. Maintain payroll documentation and prepare information for audits.
People Operations (35%)
7. Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and role changes.
8. Prepare HR documents, certificates, and contract adjustments.
9. Maintain clean, updated employee data to ensure smooth handovers with IT, TA, Office Management, and Finance.
10. Support compliance with health & safety requirements.
11. Provide HR information to Deutsche Börse when needed.
12. Contribute to a consistent, high-quality employee experience.
People Analytics & Process Improvement (15%)
13. Support HR reporting and help maintain dashboards (Excel, Power BI).
14. Assist with monthly and yearly HR provisions and Finance-relevant data.
15. Identify process pain points and develop ideas to simplify or automate.
16. Help improve workflows, documentation, and overall People Ops efficiency.
Your Profile
17. Education in Business Administration or equivalent qualification with economic fundamentals
18. First experience in Compensation & Benefits or similar experience
19. Experience in using HR related Software (Personio, SAP Success Factors)
20. Proficiency in Excel
21. Service and detail-oriented
22. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit
23. Open minded team player
24. Good written and spoken German and English language skills
