Your mission As a Lead/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Stark, you will be at the core of designing and developing the our next-generation unmanned aerial platforms. This is a hands-on role requiring technical depth in Mechanical Design. Familiarity with both military and commercial aviation certification environments—particularly as they apply to unmanned systems—is essential. Responsibilities - Lead mechanical design on existing and future aerospace products - Drive SolidWorks design efforts - Execute tolerance stack-ups (mandatory) - Contribute to FEA/DFM (optional but valuable) - Hands-on daily with prototyping and builds Qualifications Tolerance study expertise SolidWorks advanced use Strong physical prototyping ability Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5 years of experience in Mechanical design, preferably in aerospace, defence, or automotive sectors Familiarity with NATO STANAGs, MIL standards (e.g. MIL-STD-461, 704, 810), and relevant EASA/FAA UAS certification pathways (e.g. SC-Light UAS) Excellent technical communication and documentation skills Security clearance eligibility (or existing clearance) preferred Fluent in English; German or other languages beneficial About us LEGAL DISCLAIMER We are an equal-opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
