What you´ll do
* Execute internal audits (mostly with focus on Finance and Accounting) across various business units based on the annually approved audit plan
* Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of key controls at Henkel and identify actions to address risks, ensure compliance and improve business processes
* Prepare audit reports with clear findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations
* Effectively communicate audit results and findings to relevant stakeholders in the organization, including top management
* Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation
* Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Corporate Audit department as well outside (e.g. with the 2nd line of defense)
* Keep up to date with changes in regulations, auditing standards, and industry trends
* Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement or control enhancement
* Provide ideas for the development of the annual audit plan based on risk assessments
* Take responsibility for own projects with a strong focus on process optimization and risk management
* Travel the Henkel world - spend up to 40% of your time abroad, including international travel
What makes you a good fit
* University degree and MBA in Business Administration with a Finance affinity, or related fields
* Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is advantageous
* Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a multinational environment (e.g., external auditing firm, internal audit or internal controls)
* Solid experience in relevant financial evaluation
* Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), risk management, and governance practices
* Outstanding analytical skills, distinct process curiosity and attention to detail
* Strong presence and assertiveness with high ability to constructively manage conflicts
* Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as in teams
* International mindset and readiness to work in international teams/settings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Profound skills in MS Office, SAP, financial reporting systems
