What you will do
* Leading and developing the laboratory for molecular beam epitaxy at the Heinrich Hertz Institute
* Operation of a gas-source MBE, model Riber 412
* Implementation and development of epitaxy processes using MBE
* Management of research projects and direct development contracts
* Cooperation with national and international partners
What you bring to the table
* Completed scientific university degree and PhD in physics, electrical engineering or a related field
* Excellent knowledge and several years of proven experience in the epitaxy of III-V semiconductors using MBE
* Excellent knowledge of epitaxy analytics
* Proven experience in operating an MBE
* Sound knowledge and experience in the implementation of research projects
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners and customers
* Very good written and spoken German and English
* Independent work, strategic thinking, organization and coordination

The position is initially limited to 2 years. An extension is explicitly desired.
The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
