Who You Are
You’re a tech-savvy troubleshooter with a sharp eye for solutions and a calm demeanor under pressure. As a Tier 1 Support Technician, you’re the frontline of the IT world — the first voice, the first fix, and the first step to success. Whether it's a stubborn printer, a Wi-Fi hiccup, or a user locked out of their desktop, you’re there to bring order to chaos. You thrive on solving problems and understand when to escalate, ensuring every user gets the smooth, professional experience they deserve.
What You’ll Do
* Be the first point of contact for users needing on-site IT assistance.
* Respond to support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system like a true service ninja.
* Troubleshoot common IT issues such as:
o Windows desktop OS quirks
o LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity troubles
o Printer and peripheral problems
o Software installs and basic configs
o Mobile device basics (email sync, Wi-Fi, etc.)
* Accurately log all support interactions and escalate unresolved issues to Jolera’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams when needed.
* Deliver weekly status updates to the client’s IT manager.
* Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and team meetings — because no hero works alone.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong foundational knowledge of desktop support (Windows OS, networking, peripherals).
* Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
* A problem-solver who knows when to dig deeper and when to call in reinforcements.
* Ability to document issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
* Experience working in a structured support environment is a plus.
