About the position:
You will support the Customer Engineering team at an automotive manufacturer's R&D center on site. Your tasks will include maintaining technical systems and regularly updating development components. In doing so, you will gain valuable insights into the development of complex systems in the field of information and communication technology.
Your team:
You will be part of BMW's Customer Account Management team, which is responsible for all development projects in the areas of infotainment, telematics, and loudspeakers.
Your task:
* Maintenance and servicing of existing systems
* Rollout of developed concepts across all infotainment test stations
* Partial automation via relay switching and remote desktop
* IT infrastructure and local network support
* Planning and implementation of local NAS/shared data solutions
* Mechanics and construction (depending on the course of study)
* Integration of 3D models into the virtual vehicle environment
* Regular updates of development components via debug access
* Use of terminal programs / diagnostic tools for functional testing
* Documentation in Confluence/Sharepoint
