SAP Functional Lead - Planning and Logistics Location: Gallin, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Germany (alternative: Tumba, Sweden). Global travelling will be part of this position. Under the Programme One: Greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA, we are transforming our business model. The SAP Functional Lead for Planning & Logistics will shape the design and implementation of advanced planning solutions in one of DeLaval’s largest transformation programs ever. Purpose of Role and Key Responsibilities As SAP Functional Lead, you will act as a senior solution designer and trusted business advisor with deep expertise in planning processes. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, SAP and our implementation partners to deliver best‑in‑class solutions. Your mission is to drive standardization, harmonization and simplification across our global operations. Specific Tasks Include Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA planning and logistics processes, focusing on: Demand Planning Inventory Planning Material Requirements Planning Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Variant Configuration Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with best practices and TCO principles. Ensure compliance with design principles and maintain guidelines and documentation. Act as a gatekeeper for solution integrity during the transformation and beyond. After go‑live, join the SAP Center of Excellence to support continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in senior SAP roles, with proven expertise in planning and logistics within SAP S/4HANA. Involvement in large SAP implementations, preferably greenfield projects. Hands‑on experience with IBP, APO, MRP, aATP and PPDS; knowledge of integration with other modules (MM, SD) is a plus. Strong understanding of SAP software and its capabilities, and experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions. Strong understanding of SAP best practices, solution architecture and tools. A Master’s degree in engineering, IT or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
