Position Summary:

Arcadis is seeking a Tool Install Construction Manager to join our team in support of complex tool installation projects. This role will lead on-site construction activities for projects ranging from $100K to over $100M, supporting high-tech manufacturing environments and ensuring successful execution from installation through project closeout.

The Tool Install Construction Manager plans, organizes, and coordinates all on-site construction activities in collaboration with the Project Manager. This includes leading site staff such as superintendents, project engineers, safety personnel, and document control, as well as managing contractors, labor resources, safety oversight, client coordination, procurement support, and estimating assistance. The ideal candidate brings experience in semiconductor or other advanced manufacturing environments and demonstrates strong leadership in managing tool installation and field execution efforts. .

Role Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of semiconductor and high-tech tool installation projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved
* Develop and manage project execution plans, including resource allocation, sequencing, risk mitigation, communication strategies, and schedule coordination
* Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and vendor partners
* Oversee contractor, subcontractor, and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations, including tool installation activities
* Ensure all construction and installation activities comply with legal, safety, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain detailed site records, including daily reports, RFIs, observations, and other documentation.
* Write and review comprehensive scopes of work and support submittals for large projects in collaboration with architects, engineers, and other specialists.
* Assign, schedule, and coordinate subcontractor activities and lead all construction-related meetings (owner, contractor, pull plan, schedule, and design reviews).
* Effectively manage project changes, control costs, and provide risk escalation to senior leadership when necessary.
* Interface at a high level with clients, provide guidance on resource allocation, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Manage and mentor Arcadis staff on construction sites, including senior superintendents and construction managers.
* Support commissioning, start-up, and handover of facilities, coordinating with operational teams and tool installation efforts.
* Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and dashboards for clients and internal leadership.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred; Master's degree or equivalent a plus
* 10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in semiconductor, high-tech industrial, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
* Proven track record managing all phases of projects, from feasibility and procurement through execution, commissioning, tool installation, and close-out.
* Experience with tool installation, Basebuild construction, cleanroom facilities, and industrial process utilities (HVAC, ultra-pure water, chemical delivery) projects.
* Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors, and vendors effectively.
* Proficient with construction scheduling and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore) and document control systems.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet multiple deadlines.
* Familiarity with 3D model review tools (e.g., Navigate 3D Model Reviewer) and collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams).
* Certifications preferred: OSHA 30, CSL License.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (German/English).
