€Our client is a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across sectors including advanced manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals and data centres.
They are currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on a major construction project in Finsterwalde, Germany.
This is a key site-based leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest safety standards are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for ensuring the project remains fully compliant with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation while driving a strong safety culture across site operations.
Ensuring the project remains in a safe and compliant condition at all times
Implementing and maintaining the company’s health and safety policies
Advising site leadership on statutory safety requirements and regulatory compliance
Supporting accident investigations and producing detailed reports
Monitoring welfare facilities and site setup to ensure compliance
Promoting continuous improvement in health and safety performance
Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent)
Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation
Experience managing subcontractors and driving safety compliance on live sites
Effective decision-making and time management skills
