Overview
Division: Sales | Location: Preferred location Erfurt; alternatively at another X-FAB site in Europe or remote
Your Role
Lead and develop a distributed EMEA sales organization (Account Managers, Sales Representatives, Field Application Engineers, Inside Sales) with direct responsibility for key customer accounts.
Define and execute a sustainable EMEA commercial strategy covering sales, revenue, product value, business development and new account acquisition.
Own regional sales performance including targets, forecasting accuracy, commercial results and cost center responsibility.
Drive strategic customer relationships and position X-FAB as a preferred development and foundry partner, including identification of new product and technology opportunities.
Manage commercial negotiations, pricing frameworks and contractual conditions in alignment with X-FAB Group marketing and commercial guidelines.
Translate customer, market and field intelligence into actionable input for Technology, Product Marketing and Go-to-Market strategies, supporting capacity and technology roadmap planning.
Collaborate closely with global fabs, customer service teams and Marketing Communications; represent X-FAB at customer events, exhibitions and technical roadshows.
Report directly to the VP Sales & Marketing of the X-FAB Group
Your Profile
Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Physics or a comparable technical or business-oriented engineering discipline (B.S. / M.S.)
At least 10 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry or a closely related field, preferably in a global B2B environment
Strong experience in customer-facing roles with deep understanding of the semiconductor market
Proven experience in leading distributed teams and support offices across multiple locations; first experience in leading international sales or account teams is highly desirable
Solid technical background with basic knowledge of semiconductor physics, process technologies and analog and/or digital circuit design
Strong commercial mindset with in-depth understanding of business development, sales, marketing and key account management
Demonstrated ability in commercial strategy development, target setting, forecasting and planning, with a focus on sustainable and profitable growth
Experience in complex commercial negotiations, including strategic partnerships, product licensing models and supply chain-related contracts
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with a structured and results-driven working style
Fluent English is mandatory; German and/or French language skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel frequently internationally within the EMEA region and beyond
