This challenge awaits you:
Are you ready to help shape the future of electromobility and contribute your expertise in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for electric drive modules in electric vehicles? Then we are looking for you! In this position, you will build on an existing simulation approach for a drive module to conduct further investigations into sensitivity with regard to interference emission. Your task will be to analyze and optimize the EMC properties of the drive systems in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the electric powertrains. You will work closely with a team from the development and simulation departments to develop innovative solutions and overcome the challenges of electromagnetic interference. If you already have some knowledge of EMC simulation and are passionate about developing forward-looking technologies, we look forward to receiving your application.
Your Tasks:
1. You will research available approaches to sensitivity analysis in existing simulation tools.
2. You will perform a simulation and analysis using an example of an electric drive.
3. You will identify the relevant simulation variables that contribute most to EMC emissions.
Necessary Skills:
4. Currently studying electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a technical/scientific field
5. Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
Desired Skills:
6. Previous experience with simulation, high-frequency technology, or EMC is advantageous.
