Field Sales Director Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Sales Director to lead our sales operations in Germany.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and inspiring a team of over 50 Field Sales professionals, ensuring seamless alignment with local and national strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational efficiency, achieving ambitious goals in global matrix-driven sales organizations, and fostering strong partnerships within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and inspire a team of more than 50 Field Sales professionals in 6 teams across Germany;
* Ensure that team efforts align seamlessly with both local and national strategic goals;
* Conduct periodic business reviews with the leadership team and the wider sales organization to assess performance and strategy alignment;
* Identify and secure high-value partnerships and execute Local Hero Acquisition strategies in key cities;
* Work closely with Sales Support and Account Management to provide a high-quality, consistent experience across all customer touchpoints;
* Partner with Lead Management to supply the Field Sales teams with high-quality, conversion-ready leads and develop data-driven strategies to identify potential top-partners in every city;
* Build strong relationships with Sales Steering and Operations to ensure alignment of go-to-market strategies with global initiatives from usage of sales tools over reporting landscape up to sales material and incentive models;
* Craft and implement territory-specific strategies to enhance the customer experience in line with national goals;
* Collaborate closely with the Manager of Inside Sales to harmonise Field and Inside Sales activities.


Requirements

* Proven track record of managing large teams and driving operational efficiency;
* Background of achieving ambitious goals in global matrix driven sales organizations, preferably in a B2B2C environment;
* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments;
* Proficiency in sales operations software and tools, including CRM systems and data analytics platforms;
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
* Fluent in German and English;
* Based in Berlin.
