Aufgaben:
* Supply Chain Quality Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of supply chain management throughout all product life cycle phases.
* This position is focusing on interconnect parts and assemblies such as Cables, customized Connectors and connections by Spring Contact Pins.
* By assuring the availability of high quality parts/assemblies along with the required supplier and supply chain capabilities the dynamic business needs are supported. Major tasks are
* Supplier selection, auditing and qualification, quality assurance processes, test strategy/plan, performance control points, etc.
* Assures performance according to specifications; assures quality and reliability throughout the materials supply chain (from component to product level)
* Works as cross functional interface between external Suppliers & Contract Manufacturers and internal departments
* Change control, Design for Manufacturing analysis, part number setup etc.
* Support for technical contracting elements
Qualifikationen:
* Bachelor/Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent with the subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Material Science or equivalent job experience
* Know-how of manufacturing and related test processes for complex Cable assemblies
* Knowledge of common failure mechanisms related to Cables and Connectors
* Very good analytical skills in solving technical issues
* Team work/cross functional work capability
* Language skills: fluent in English (writing & speaking); German min. B2
* Strong self-management and coordination skills
* Good communicator, presenting skills
