Working Student for IT Security Analysis and SIEM (m/f/d)
We are seeking a motivated Working Student – SIEM Engineer to support our Allianz Cyber Defence Center (ACDC). In this role, you will assist with the configuration, monitoring, and optimization of our SIEM system to ensure real-time security visibility and compliance.
What you do
* Assist in configuring and maintaining the SIEM platform (e.g., Google SecOps).
* Support the onboarding of new log sources into the SIEM environment.
* Aid in the documentation of log source onboarding.
* Help identify coverage gaps due to missing logs.
What you bring
* Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of network protocols, system logs, and cybersecurity principles.
* Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and logging mechanisms.
* Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
