Purpose and Scope:

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Collects, processes, and reviews data from the EHS reporting system to capture safety, health and environmental statistics for tracking metrics, and the creation of standard reports and presentations required for internal and external reporting purposes.
2. Assist the Site Manager in tracking and recording injuries to create reports/deliverables for submittal to the government.
3. Assist in overseeing and maintaining the assigned EHS and Quality SharePoint library and key documentation for compliance purposes and proposals.
4. Coordinates and monitors EHS training requirements for personnel, including technical and professional certifications.
5. Performs daily data entry from field Quality inspection and audit processes, while providing the front-line review of provided information to ensure data quality meets site requirements.
6. Ensures strict compliance with safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
7. Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
8. Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
9. Coordinates the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Department and its Auditors/inspectors to ensure successful and effective completion of required audits IAW Internal Audit procedure and industry standards.
10. Provides guidance and advice to the Site Manager on significant changes to the quality management system that have a direct impact on site operations.
11. Facilitates Root Cause analysis discovery for site level NCRs and ensure corrective action and preventive action are acceptable and validates NCRs prior to input in QMS.
12. Tracks, monitors and controls site inputs into the quality system ensuring compliance with QMS.
13. Provides continuous development training to site level Internal Auditors.
14. Provides oversight of SIF/QCIF program ensuring that site personnel are correctly managing these quality processes.
15. Processes, evaluates, and submits on time, completed Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Preventative Action Request (PARs), Self-Inspections and audit reports to PMQ.
16. Professionally liaises with USAF CORs and assist them with site Quality issues.
17. Prepares reports and generates metrics as necessary to understand and communicate site compliance of QMS.
18. Performs other tasks and duties as appropriate: to include attendance at Site Manager Staff Meeting, preparation of personnel performance reports, and any other tasks that may be assigned by Quality Manager.
19. Provides supervision, direction and training to all QC Inspectors under their supervision.
20. Ensures the completion of maintenance forms such as work orders, parts request sheets and maintenance sheets and trains others in the proper documentation procedures.
21. Ensures safety practices and housekeeping are maintained to the highest standard.
22. Checks repairs to ensure the highest quality repair standards are met.
23. Check to make sure that only current up-to-date Technical Orders and commercial manuals are used when repairing items.
24. Performs random In-Process and Final Product inspections on Production, Inspection, and Maintenance operations.
25. Randomly reviews production and inspection schedules, work orders and historical records to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
26. Performs random inspections on tools, shop equipment, safety equipment and protective clothing.
27. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

28. High school diploma or equivalent
29. AA, BS, BA or other college degree preferred
30. Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in progressively more responsible EHS and/or Quality role
31. Six-Sigma Greenbelt a plus
32. Knowledge of database development and maintenance
33. Working knowledge of EHS training practices, metrics, and programs
34. Working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations
35. Ability to understand, collate and interpret EHS metrics and prepare reports and presentations according to Amentum needs
36. Ability to understand contractual requirements and how they apply
37. Must have demonstrated interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
38. Strong computer skills in MS Office
39. Must have excellent organizational and administrative skills
40. Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment or contract and will be listed separately
41. Must have a valid driver’s license
42. Must have authorization to work in host country.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

43. OCONUS: Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
44. Work could be in an office, maintenance shop, or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
45. Potentially prolonged sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
46. Must possess planning/organizing skills and be able to work under deadlines.
47. Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
48. Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.

Compensation Details:

50,000 - 55,000 EUR
