Job description / Your role:
4. Serve as the owner of our Product Quality (QA) and Product Assurance (PA) processes for space electronics
5. Ensure that LEOspace electronic systems are designed, tested, and qualified to perform reliably in the space environment
6. Manage specifications and coordinate test and qualification activities in line with emerging New Space standards
7. Support electrical engineering teams in selecting components suited for space applications, with a strong focus on radiation resilience
8. Provide QA/PA support throughout the entire product lifecycle, from early design phases through production and deployment
9. Lead FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) workflows across development stages
10. Coordinate with external test providers and support procurement processes for the testing of electronic components
11. Contribute to industrial process engineering within our Simultaneous Engineering approach, enabling scalable production of space-qualified products
Ihr Profil
Qualification Checklist:
12. University degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering or a related field
13. Proven experience in the space sector, particularly with electrical systems and components
14. Expertise in requirements engineering and in drafting specifications at the equipment, unit, and component levels
15. Knowledge of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) component qualification, including delta qualification for space use
16. Familiarity with radiation testing methodologies for COTS components and experience in part screening for space environments
17. Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Bonus Qualifications:
18. Hands-on experience in executing radiation testing of electrical parts, covering the entire process from datasheet review and part selection trade-offs to test definition, execution, and data analysis
19. Extensive professional experience, preferably in the space or aerospace industry
20. Strong background in Quality Assurance and Product Assurance for electrical products used in space applications
