Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for procuring and planning demand, acting as a logistical interface between internal and external stakeholders and the Customer Service Team. You will also monitor schedules, manage excess inventory, and drive expediting process in case of stock shortages.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate market trends and make data-driven decisions to ensure optimal inventory levels, taking product lifecycle times into account, and guarantee the availability of spare parts for customers and service centers.
* Manage procurement processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives, aligning with company goals and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proficient in using MRP systems and SAP, with a focus on procurement, materials logistics, and distribution.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
