Overview
BitDefender GmbH announces Uwe Hanreich as the new Sales Director for the DACH region. He is responsible for the overall indirect sales (channel sales, distribution and retail) and will lead strategic and operative sales planning. He will work with the worldwide sales team to expand BitDefender business in the DACH region.
Responsibilities
* Lead indirect sales across the DACH region (channel, distribution and retail).
* Develop and execute strategic and operative sales plans.
* Coordinate with the global sales team to drive growth in the DACH market.
* Strengthen and manage channel partnerships and reseller networks.
* Forecasting, budgeting, and performance management for indirect channels.
* Represent BitDefender to retailers and partners in the region.
Qualifications / Background
* Extensive IT/CE industry experience with a track record in sales leadership.
* More than 20 years in IT/CE, with deep expertise in retail, consumer electronics, and ICT.
* Over 12 years in executive sales roles at international companies, including Packard Bell, Psion, Siemens, and eudisa.
* Former channel sales manager for Germany at Kaspersky Labs GmbH for three years prior to joining BitDefender.
* Recognized with Channel Champion Awards in 2009 and 2010.
